Guided Kayak Adventure | Sea Point

Cape Town

Activity Description

Kaskazi Kayaks And Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and to one of the favourite hangouts for our endemic Haviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

Such an amazing, peaceful, experience. We felt safe the entire time and I would 100% do it again- loved every second! - Ashleigh Saunders

It was a great experience to Kayak and see Cape Town from a different viewpoint. The tour guide gave us a good safety briefing before the tour so we all felt very safe in the kayaks. Even though it was winter, we saw some wildlife as seals and dolphins. The only area of improvement I can think of is that the guide didn't give us any information about the wildlife unless we specifically asked so I didn't feel like I learned much from the tour. It would have been good if he had gathered us around at the start to talk about the bay and then gathered us once during the tour to talk about various types of wildlife. - Laura Hamlin

Hi Everyone, thank you again for the great opportunity to experience the beauty of Cape Town on the water. We really enjoyed it and felt very well looked after from the whole team. The experience was memorable, we will surely send our guests your way. Keep up the excellent work. Thanks again, The Silo Team - The Silo Hotel Team

Thank You Kaskazi for the wonderful opportunity to experience our beautiful ocean. You gave us a close encounter with dolphins and amazing views of Table Mountain, all whilst feeling safe and being enthralled by the guides knowledge of the history of the area - Ross wilson

I took my two boys aged 9 and 12 out for their first sea kayak experience. Our guide Dirk was fantastic with the kids. He monitored the conditions constantly and let the boys paddle at their own pace. The views of Cape Town are amazing, a unique way to see Table mountain and sea Point - John Edwards
