Cape Town And Hout Bay

Activity Description

1 of the TOP 10 Cape Town Outdoor Experiences.

Let Cape Town Bucket List take you on a once in a lifetime Cape Town adventure to snorkel with the ocean’s friendliest creatures, the Cape Fur seal.

Snorkeling is a great way to observe our beautiful underwater life without all the extensive training and complicated equipment required for scuba diving.

We will provide the wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins as well as a short training session to make sure you are comfortable with the mask and snorkel.

Not keen to get in the water but would like to come and watch your friends and family snorkel? You’re more than welcome to join on the boat at an additional cost.

Customer Reviews

Great experience & friendly staff - Andrew Sutherland

Fantastic experience. The staff were prompt, professional and friendly. The experience itself was great - the seals were swimming all around us and under us, checking us out and playing tag. The wetsuits mean that the water does not feel too cold, and the waters were not rough enough to make swimming difficult. Highly recommended. - SJ273

This trip was amazing. I would like to give a special shout out to the crew of Cape Town bucket list for making this trip so memorable. They are really nice and try to give you the best experience they can. The crew is very knowledgeable , friendly, funny and they are also in for a little detour if their are dolphins in the bay, which made our trip completely magical. Another nice thing is we went kayaking a week after the seal snorkelling trip and the crew remembered us. This shows that they really care about the people they have on their trips. In June we want to go wale watching with Cape Town bucket list as well. - Loes Arnoldussen

We had an absolutely brilliant day, we couldn't have asked for better conditions, the visibility was incredible. The seals were unbelievably inquisitive and the staff were amazing. The warm treats at the end make all the difference. Overall a great experience, well organized, the equipment is in good condition and the staff were friendly and super helpful. Thank you for an amazing, unforgettable experience. - SEAN BROOKES
